Fantasy football with no off-season. Draft real players from a season that already happened, set your lineups, and watch it play out. In "Bot leagues" you complete the season at your own pace. You can choose to fly through a season within 30 minutes, or be more deliberate and take as much time as you want for each lineup decision.

What it is

FantaSim Football is a fantasy football simulation game. You draft a roster of real NFL players from a completed season, and a simulation engine replays it using what those players actually did, game by game.

Because the results already happened, the skill is in reading the stats rather than guessing at the future. A receiver who quietly caught eight passes a week may have just as much value as the breakout player who tallied up 1600 receiving yards.

How long a season takes is up to the league. On your own against bots you can get through one in under an hour. With friends it moves at whatever pace you agree on, whether that is a single evening or a couple of weeks.

How it works

1. Draft. Join a league and take part in a live snake draft from that season's player pool.
2. Set your lineup. Pick your starters each week, the same as traditional fantasy.
3. Watch it play out. The engine simulates every game from real statistics. After the sim has completed, you can watch the replay to see your team march down the field, play by play.
4. See why you won or lost. Every sack and every fumble is labelled with what caused it.

A simulated week is more than a final score. Any game can be replayed on a field, with the ball moving, the clock running and every play listed beside it.

It also shows its work. When your quarterback gets sacked, the game tells you whether that happened on the real Sunday or whether holes in your lineup resulted in a penalty sack.

FantaSim Football is a game of skill played for entertainment only. There is no wagering, no entry fees, and no cash or material prizes of any kind. Players compete for league standings and bragging rights.

Free to play

FantaSim Football is free to play and supported by advertising. Paid subscription tiers are optional and add features such as creating and running your own private leagues, along with a wider choice of seasons. The seasons available to free players rotate over time. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled whenever you like.
